Drozal was an Ardougnese man who joined the Zamorakians terrorising the city during the Dreaded Years of Tragedy. Some of their actions included poisoning the city's water supply and turning all children invisible. Eventually, the Saradominists revolted, causing a massive battle to erupt near an outpost. All those who participated in this battle died, except for one soldier of each side. At some point prior to the battle, Drozal had hidden his journal in a chest, which he buried near the Observatory.
