Cube parts were the original components of the Strange box. Although they were in fact items, they could never be obtained by players.

These cube parts were difficult for colour-blind players to identify. As a result in 2006, the Strange box was updated to use numbers instead of colours. As a result, they have never been present in Old School RuneScape - however, they remain in the game cache.
