The chest located at the Digsite around the panning point can be opened with the chest key during the Dig Site Quest to obtain some chemical powder. It can still be opened after the quest is completed should the player own the respective key or any duplicates of it obtained via drop tricking. This can be useful should the player wish to gather more ammonium nitrate to damage themselves. Players may open the chest for others, allowing those players to loot the chemical powder after completing the quest, even if they don’t have keys of their own. The chest remains open for 3 minutes before closing.
