Bird feeders are used during the Eagles' Peak quest. When odd bird seed is used on the feeder, this will move the metal birds, which is necessary to obtain the golden feather. The golden feather is used to open the stone door where Nickolaus is held captive.

When a player gets stuck on the puzzle, they can use the Reset Lever to reset the entire puzzle.
