Three beta worlds (401, 407, 412) were opened to test the new additions to the Arceuus spellbook. As the beta was intended to test the new spells against various scenarios, players were allowed complete access to the world, excluding the Inferno. Players were also provided with the usual amenities that come with unrestricted worlds, including unlimited run energy.
Upon logging in, players were equipped with a full set of best-in-slot magic equipment with 10,000 of each rune (excluding combination runes), in addition to a rune pouch (l) containing 10,000 blood, fire, and soul runes.
To help test various spells, the player's run energy was drained to 10% in order to be able to cast Vile Vigour (as players were provided with unlimited run energy), and the player's bank was provided with 1,000 bones, big bones, dagannoth bones, and all variants of dragon bones to test the Sinister Offering spell.
