Two coils of rope can be found atop the Baxtorian Falls. Before completing both Waterfall Quest and the medium Kandarin Diary, the ropes are not interactive, but after completing them the ropes gain a "Take" option. Taking the ropes automatically transfers players to the small island then to the Waterfall Dungeon entrance, elimintating the need to bring a rope. No rope item is added to the inventory when "taking" a rope.

Hotfix
Originally, the rope automatically sent you from the first island all the way to the dungeon entrance. This made a medium clue impossible, so now the first rope sends you to the second rope, and the second rope is no longer interactable, meaning players are once again required to bring a rope to access the dungeon.[2] |
