Pixies are a type of fairy[1], known to be hardworking but overly excitable, which causes them to gather static magic around them and release it in a burst of magical energy.[2][3] They featured most prominently in the 2013 Halloween event, 2014 Christmas event, and 2017 Christmas event, as they were hired by Diango from the Fairy Godfather to help create toys for Christmas.[4][5] The pixies, during these events, could be found in a large toy workshop beneath Draynor Village.

It was suggested in the 2013 Halloween event that pixies may explode when worked up.[6] This is likely literal, based on them releasing magical bursts when overexcited. This could be seen in the 2014 Christmas event, as the pixies would occasionally release an explosion and fall to the ground before getting back up.

As of the 2017 Christmas event, the pixies seem to no longer be hired out by the Fairy Godfather, and instead now work directly for Santa Claus, as they temporarily went on strike when Santa went on vacation during the holiday. They stopped striking after Santa promised them a month off each year.
