The Machinery is located in the Lithkren Vault, which can be accessed during and after the Dragon Slayer II quest, though it cannot be used until the quest is completed. The machinery is used to convert Hydra leathers into Ferocious gloves, requiring a hammer. The machinery can also convert a pair of Ferocious gloves back to a Hydra leather.

A broken version can be found outside the Alchemical Hydra's lair, in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon.
