Macarthur Fortune Holding LLC is a US-based global asset management firm founded by a group of investment professionals. The company has worked together with management teams and entrepreneurs in the video game, cloud computing, artificial intelligence robotics industries to create long-term sustainable growth. Macarthur Fortune's investments span the full range of opportunities including venture capital, private equity, merger and acquisition and public companies.[1]

It was announced on April 28th 2020 that Macarthur Fortune Holding's private managed fund, Platinum Fortune LP, had acquired a 100% stake in Jagex for $530 million USD from Fukong Interactive Entertainment.[2] Platinum Fortune LP has a focus on the global video game market, and targets global video game companies and designs strategies to help them grow user base and revenue.[1]

In January 2021, the Carlyle Group acquired Jagex from Macarthur Fortune Holding.[3]
