Lunchboxes were items intended to release with the Tower of Life quest, presumably as a reward from the post-quest Creature Creation minigame. They were removed before release, with satchels and the tea flask being the rewards from Creature Creation instead. Despite this, models for the lunchboxes were left in the game files.
Like satchels, lunchboxes would have been equipable in the shield slot, and would likely have had the same ability to store food inside, as the code used to implement the satchels refer to lunchboxes in their variable prefixes.[1]
In addition to a generic lunchbox item, there would be stickers or decals depicting the six creature creation creatures, and versions of the lunchboxes with these stickers attached, meaning there would be seven lunchboxes in total.
As they were graphically updated after the release of the quest, the lunchboxes depict the original versions of Unicow, Swordchick and Jubster. Additionally, Spidine is depicted as being blue instead of green.
