Impending Chaos

Impending Chaos is an unreleased quest not accessible in the game. The quest would have been started by talking to Citlalli who has a basement full of imps causing issues. The quest summary is "Deal with some troublesome imps causing problems in Kastori." The quest assets were added to the game on 23 July 2025 with the release of Varlamore: The Final Dawn which included four quests, and another unfinished quest, An Existential Crisis.

Judging from its config name (ic_ecatl), Ecatl, a non-player character, is believed to be involved in the quest.

This quest may be linked to the unreleased minigame that Mod Arcane made during a GameJam he recalled as "Impelled Down."[1]
