Gollwyn was an elf and soldier in Baxtorian's army that fought against Iorwerth's forces during the Baxtorian campaign.

In his book, Gollwyn's final statement, he describes the assault at the gates of Prifddinas by Iorwerth's forces, which resulted in the loss of more than half of Baxtorian's army, and how this led to him becoming lost in the Underground Pass. Unable to find a way out, he writes an apology to his son, Arianwyn, and soon succumbs to the voices (whispers from the fragment of Seren) drawing him to enter the Well of Voyage.
