Demon spade

The demon spade was a proposed reward from the Doom of Mokhaiotl which would allow harvesting farming patches instantly. The item was originally proposed as the demonic digger before being renamed. It would have allowed instant harvesting at herbs, hops, allotments, dead plants, tree roots, and Chambers of Xeric patches.

After being proposed there were concerns that harvesting allotments such as snape grass and watermelons would offer higher experience per hour than trees due to the reduced time spent harvesting. The harvesting speed was then proposed to be double harvesting speed rather than instant. After further community feedback and concerns about a skilling upgrade coming from an end-game PvM encounter the demon spade was removed from the rewards.
