The cupboard is located within the garden shed in the northern part of Fenkenstrain's Castle, and is used during the Creature of Fenkenstrain quest. During the quest, the player must search the cupboard to find a garden brush. The brush is then used to create a tool long enough to clean a fireplace of the conductor mould.

To access the cupboard initially, the player needs the shed key obtained from the Gardener Ghost to open the shed door. Once the door is opened, the key is no longer required to enter the shed.

The cupboard is searchable for another garden brush during and after the quest, provided the player does not currently have one.
