The chest inside Peer the Seer's house can be opened during The Fremennik Trials quest by placing a 4/5ths full bucket in its balancing mechanism. It contains the Vase needed to further progress through the maze house. After the quest is completed the player can no longer enter the house, and the chest becomes unreachable.
