The chest inside the Blue Moon Inn can be opened with the chest key to obtain the Pirate message during the Pirate's Treasure quest. As the key dissolves upon opening the chest, it can normally be opened only once. However, if the player obtained more than one chest key trough Drop Tricking the chest may be opened multiple times by using the key on it. This allows for the player to obtain multiple messages as long as they didn't advance to the next quest stage by reading the pirates message.

Each time the player successfully opens the chest, these messages will appear in the chatbox:

• "You unlock the chest."
• "All that's in the chest is a message..."
• "You take the message from the chest."

• There is an identical chest in a building upstairs on the Node. It is currently unconfirmed whether Group Ironman players can open this chest with the Chest Key during the Pirate's Treasure quest.
