Ashihama is a distant island that is part of the Pincers region of the Wushanko Isles (also known as the Eastern Lands).[1] Not much is known about the island, though it is most known for being the original home of The Nightmare of Ashihama, which is said to have been created in an ancient ritual by shamans on the island.[2]
The Nightmare terrorized the sirens of the island for many years, until Shura's discovery of totems created to combat the Nightmare in the mostly unexplored caves beneath the island allowed her and a group of warriors to finally drive the Nightmare off the island.[3]
