Tendrils (Tar Swamp)

Tendrils can be found in the tar swamp section of Fossil Island. Some of them can be chopped down with an axe, but this is not necessary for traversing of the swamp, and therefore not recommended. It is possible to cut the tendrils with an axe for which players do not have the woodcutting level required to use it, by manually using the axe on the tendrils.

Several tendrils that have an identical appearance can be found throughout the swamp, although these cannot be chopped down or otherwise interacted with. These decorative tendrils also cannot be examined.
