The Myths' Guild, founded by the Sect of Uhld.

The Sect of Uhld are the founders of the Myths' Guild.[1] Erdan, a member of the guild, is a descendant of Uhld, the Sect's leader.[2]

Formerly a group of nomads residing somewhere in the southern coast of Feldip Hills,[3] they founded the guild sometime during the Runecrafting Crusades in the Fifth Age upon witnessing the destruction of the entrance to the Wrath Altar, which had been rediscovered as a result of the wrath that the Fremennik crusaders, the Gunnites, had wrought upon the runic temples of the world.[4] Upon studying the rediscovered runic altar, they were able to create surge spells and destroyed the Gunnites of the southern crusade.[5]

The Sect's primary goal in founding the Myths' Guild was information preservation,[6] as well as distinguishing fact and myths throughout history, all of which are archived in the guild's Library of Knowledge.[7]
