Armoured Tortoise Regiment

The Armoured Tortoise Regiment is a military unit of the Gnome Royal Guard that consists of tortoises, Gnome Drivers, Gnome Archers, and Gnome Mages.

The regiment in action.

The commanding officer of the regiment is Lieutenant Schepbur.[1] Although the regiment presently contains only two tortoises, more tortoises are being trained in order to expand the regiment's ranks.[2] While the tortoises of the Armoured Tortoise Regiment are currently ridden by a Gnome Driver, Gnome Archer, and Gnome Mage, the gnomes have also been conducting further research into equipping the tortoises with other weapons.[3]
